Re:mind Mental Health Therapy Services, Inc. uses evidenced-based practices, including DBT, CBT, psychodynamic and psychoeducational approaches based on the client’s needs. CBT and DBT focus on mindfulness, goals, regulating emotions, and helping individuals recognize and normalize abnormal thoughts and behaviors. Individuals can learn healthy coping mechanisms, raise levels of self-esteem, and attract healthier relationships.
Psychodynamic therapy can also help individuals learn healthy coping mechanisms, but additionally answers the question “why do I do what I do?” Psychodynamic is an insight-oriented approach that can link past events and subconscious constructs into present thoughts and behaviors and behavior patterns (an intervention that can be used to link childhood or past trauma to more current behaviors).
Individuals can be empowered to achieve a more balanced emotional or psychological state through therapy, it is in that state where peace and comfort exist.
